PURCHASING

• We currently print most of our publications, including our brochures, Soundings program catalog and Mercy newsletter on recycled paper. 
• When possible, we purchase local and/or organic food too.
• When we need to repaint our walls or ceilings - we only buy Low VOC paints!
• In January 2008 we finished installing new carpet for Dempsey Auditorium, the Mary C. Daly, RSM Art Gallery and a hallway leading to Founders Auditorium.  The new carpet and carpet pad is made out of 100% recycled content nylon.  We're buying Shaw carpet with Anso nylon fibers.  In addition to being recycled content, the carpet can also be recovered and recycled again when we can no longer benefit from their use!
