Spring Sabbatical 2026 for Women Religious

Mercy by the Sea is delighted to announce its Spring Sabbatical Program for Women Religious. This is a time for rest, prayer and reflection, solitude and community with sisters from various geographies and religious communities.
Trusting that God is at work in our lives and is as close to us as our hearts, this sabbatical will be self-directed with accompaniment from the Mercy by the Sea Sabbatical team. In this welcoming atmosphere of simplicity and beauty, we will extend to you a hospitality and spaciousness that nurtures relationship with the Sacred in self, others and creation.
Spring Sabbatical is limited to 10 participants who will enjoy the beauty of being on Long Island Sound from rooms in the main house and Seascape, a separate but elegant house on the grounds of Mercy by the Sea. Registration opens on September 15, 2025, and applications will be accepted until January 30, 2026. Please pass this on to those who might be interested in applying. The cost of the sabbatical is $9,000, which includes a $300 non-refundable deposit due with the application.
